Your body is a well performing dynamic machine and we can prove how well you are functioning through tests. Two tests that are able to illustrate how well you are functioning are the Nerve Conduction Velocity test (NCV) and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
Nerve Conduction Velocity test (NCV)
NCV testing is a diagnostic study that measures the speed and intensity of electrical nerve impulses and calculates the time and velocity in which muscles respond to these impulses. Depending on which area of your body is being tested, you may be asked to lie down or sit upright. Certain areas of your skin may be cleaned to ensure the best results. Recording electrodes will be attached to your skin. A stimulating electrode will be held against your skin and an electrical pulse will be sent through your nerves and recorded.
