Albertina Logan, D.C.
Dr. Logan has firmly established herself as one of the most dynamic forces in her community. As a physician, leader, and educator, Dr. Logan is highly recognized for her attention to detail, personal touch, and strong conviction to advocate for the well being of others. As a physician of chiropractic medicine, she has spent several years learning from some of the best medical doctors and chiropractors in her field. She gained years of experience learning how to treat health conditions and bridging the gap between Traditional and Alternative Medicine. As a result of her unwavering commitment to adding value to others, she dedicates a great deal of her time speaking, serving and empowering others through her Outreach Program.
Dr. Logan graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Science from Old Dominion University Norfolk, VA and continued to pursue her chiropractic studies at Sherman Chiropractic College in South Carolina. Dr. Logan specializes in pre and post surgical and sports medicine rehab, as well as women and children issues.
Dr. Logan enjoys a variety of past times including tennis, golf, salsa dancing and traveling to exotic places. Dr. Logan is currently serving on several community service organizations. In addition, she is a member of the ACA and CCA.
Dr. Logan and her team offer relentless passion to help others cultivate health to the fullest while facilitating an atmosphere of excellence through education, wellness, and service. Dr. Logan and her approach to healthcare have helped many restore back their health and enjoy life as it was intended.
Samar S. Shehaiber, DC, MJ, CKTP, RRT – Associate Chiropractor
Dr. Shehaiber is a 2009 graduate of National University of Health Sciences. She is a board certified chiropractic physician and certified acupuncturist. After graduation from Chiropractic school, Dr. Shehaiber obtained her Masters in Jurisprudence of Health Law from the Loyola University Law School.
Dr. Shehaiber is dedicated to the holistic approach to recovery. She Webster Certified and a Matheson Trained FCE Evaluator. This allows her the flexibility to modify patient treatment plans based on the specific complaints, referral requirements, and prognosis of her patients.
Dr. Shehaiber also believes the incorporation of proper nutrition is important in every treatment plan. She has attended multiple conferences on Clinical Nutrition, Pharmacology, and Herbology to ensure she is making the best recommendations. She has been certified in muscle testing and Kinesio Taping methods which offer the patient or athlete the extra support and stability during daily activities and rehabilitation.
She also is currently receiving post graduate training in pediatrics and women’s health and training to be a birth doula to help support women through pregnancy, labor and delivery, post-partum and breastfeeding.
Dr. Shehaiber practices holistic medicine, which foresees disease as a culmination of three factors: emotional stress, structural problems, and chemical imbalance. Her main concentration is on women’s health issues treating disorders from infertility, adrenal fatigue, thyroid diseases, and weight problems.

Ms. Falls joined The Body Connection family in 2015. Her warm and welcoming personality creates the perfect atmosphere for our patients and staff to thrive. Ms. Falls duties include assisting patients with scheduling appointments, insurance verifications, and keeping them encouraged as they complete their treatment plan. She is a senior at DePaul University studying Sociology with a concentration in health and human services. After graduating, her plans are to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy (OT). She enjoys baking, singing, reading, and being of great assistance to others.
